My first band in our first performance. It was the grand opening of Video
Village in San Antonio, TX. John Buitron - Bass;
David Pike - Drums; Roy Carasco - Vocals; Me
- Guitars. In this photo, Roy stepped back to let me sing Back in
the U.S.S.R. |
Me singing our Senior Class Song. My classmates selected Freebird,
but the faculty would not allow an electric performance. So it was just
me, a borrowed acoustic guitar and 3,500+ guests. The auditorium's acoustics
were phenomenal. If any alum have a video of this performance, please
email me. |

The venue was newly remodeled and I was brand new to this band. The
house was packed as we played a grueling four hour set on four consecutive
nights. Other highlights were playing the Pink Cadillac and an outdoor
festival. Barry Dowel - Bass; Martin Carly
- Drums (He just replaced Scott Lewis);
Chris Corridino - Lead Guitar/Lead Vocals; Me - Rhythm
Guitar/Keyboards/Vocals. In the spring of '89 I formed my own group
... a three piece called Candy Bomber.
I miss Germany and my German friends.
*People often lose contact with each other after "P.C.S.ing"
in the military. As a result of this page, Chris was able to telephone
me. Already a talented songwriter when I met him, Chris has since released
several cd's of original material and gotten airplay on local radio
stations. He currently resides in Florida where he still writes, records,
and tours regularly. Way to go Chris!

We recorded a few tracks while I was home on leave. I've always enjoyed
jamming with Glenn. He previously played bass with me in Triple
Treat. Ironically, he's actually the better guitar player.
He can play Randy Rhodes and George Lynch note for note. Later, he came
all the way up to Ft. Leavenworth, KS to play bass in my band Flammable.
He learned three hours of new material in two weeks! A couple
years later, Glenn saved the day again by traveling to Davis-Monthan
AFB, AZ where he filled in as bassist for Narcosis.
