Wall Talkers magnetic dry
erase wallcovering. These writing surfaces were installed in an
office remodel in Lake Oswego, OR.
Due to the magnetized backing a 75' long bolt of
this material is noticeably heavier than a 90' long bolt of commercial
vinyl. The bolt must be reverse rolled for 1 hour before installation
to remove the curl. This Wall Talker is 48" wide.
After allowing the bolt to relax, the material
for each wall was rolled onto another cardboard tube while simultaneously
measuring with a wheel counter before cutting.
A laser level was used to project a horizontal
line 36" above the floor. This was the guide line used during
installation. A parallel chalk line was snapped 47.5" above
as a reference. Heavy duty clay adhesive was rolled onto the wall.
Barely visible is the laser line on the bottom
edge.
Who knows what great minds will write or place
kitchen magnets on this in the future?
