My personal photographer & handsome son Joel
poses in front of the finished mural.
This mural will cover the
entire wall. After priming with Shieldz Universal Wallcovering Primer/Sealer
I made engineering marks on the wall using my laser level. If you
look closely you'll see the cross hairs. Since the mural is larger
than the wall it will be centered left & right and we'll lose
a little at the top. This way only clouds will be lost & we'll
keep the beach at the bottom.
These murals are designed to be overlapped approximately
1/8" at the edges for the best pattern match. Install the bottom
row first for the best look possible and to avoid dust at the horizontal
seams. Do not attempt to double cut these "poster" type
murals. You'll destroy them and have gapped seams after they dry.
Engineer the room so you have at least 1"
overlap at the baseboard. This way you'll have enough material
in case the baseboard runs lower on one side of the room or one
of the panels is short.
Its not necessary to use seam adhesive on the overlaps.
Just brush a little heavy duty strippable adhesive where each panel
will overlap the previous panel. Then use a damp sponge to wipe
off any excess adhesive.
