WALLTALKERS® are dry
erase boards installed like wallcovering. These photos were taken
at the new SYGMA® offices in Clackamas,
OR.
A laser level was used to ensure guide lines were
absolutely level. After engineering, the wall was sanded & primed.
After the primer dried, a thin coat of heavy duty
clay adhesive was applied to the wall and allowed to dry for 45
minutes.
After the adhesive became tacky, a second coat
of adhesive was applied.
To make the installation easier, the bolt holder
rod from my 62" pasting machine held the material against the
wall. To protect the writing side, a plastic smoother was wrapped
in a towel.
The carpenter will install a decorative wood frame
around the perimeter of the WALLTALKER®
later.
